Sing with Us!
Have you ever dreamed of singing in a men’s chorus? Men who would like to join Chiaroscuro are invited to attend one of the open rehearsals, which are held in January, June and September.
Exact dates and times will be posted below, as they approach. Men are required to demonstrate their ability to match pitches well and to learn their choral part. For questions or further details, please email to contact us.
Our regular rehearsals are typically held on Tuesday evenings from 6:30 p.m. until 9 p.m. at the Adrian First United Methodist Church, downtown Adrian, MI.
Singing Auditions Underway Now
Chiaroscuro Community Men’s Chorus will begin its membership drive for any men interested in singing with the chorus this coming season. Members are expected to be able to match pitches well and to learn their parts primarily outside of rehearsal, using provided and proven rehearsal aids.
During rehearsal, guests will join in the singing of four-part men’s choral selections so that they can enjoy and experience the unique sound and camaraderie that comes from singing in a men’s chorus.
Three performances are planned for the remaining season.
Open Rehearsals/Auditions will be held on Tuesdays, September 3, 10, 17, and 24 from 6:30 pm until 9:00 pm, at the Adrian First United Methodist Church 1245 W. Maple St., Adrian.
A concert is planned for Wednesday, December 11, 2024 at 7:30 pm in the Holy Rosary Chapel, Adrian Dominican Sister's Campus, Siena Heights University.
